Welcome to the web site of the Eastern Region of Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc.

Our Association as well as others is in the midst of one of the worlds most challenging and crucial periods. How will we thrive as an organization; we will thrive by making the best use of the talents of all our members and recruiting women with a drive to make their communities a better place to live and work. We will thrive by mentoring our young people and showing them that being active in our communities and helping each other to be successful in our professions is the norm.

How will we be responsible and accountable to current members and attract new members? Creative solutions to these issues are integral to the long-term success of the Iota Phi Lambda Sorority. Our focus is on promoting and enhancing the professions of all women, to have a global reach to women for the ultimate goal of improving our world.

Our focus will be to reach out to students, both female and male, to improve test scores, increase college enrollment and reduce teen pregnancy and violence, through many of our projects and programs. We will reach out to single mothers though our mother’s career programs, to encourage their return to the workplace and good parenting.
